How to get a mix from Logic Pro to your iPhone
By Ryan Whitten · Updated October 2, 2026
The quickest way to get a mix from Logic Pro to your iPhone is to export it into the song's folder in StudioTrackr Bounce for Mac. It uploads as that song's next version and plays on your phone, in album order with the rest of the project, before you've left the room.
Export the mix from Logic Pro
- Open the song's project and choose File > Bounce > Project or Section. If Cycle mode is on, Logic bounces only the cycle area, so turn it off for a full mix.
- Under Destination, tick Uncompressed and choose WAVE. 24-bit at the project's sample rate is a good reference format.
- Set Normalize to Off or Overload Protection Only, so two mixes you compare keep their real levels.
- In the Save As field, name the bounce, then browse to the song's folder inside your StudioTrackr folder.
- Click Bounce.
Logic Pro tips
Logic remembers the last bounce location, so once you've pointed it at a song's folder, the next bounce of that song goes there too. Point it at the next song's folder when you move on.
The Bounce window also has an Add to Apple Music Library checkbox, and File > Share > Song to Music does the same thing. It's a real route to your phone: syncing through Finder is free but needs the phone connected by cable or Wi-Fi sync, and Sync Library skips the cable but needs an Apple Music or iTunes Match subscription. Either way, your mixes end up loose in your music library. How the options compare →
What happens next
StudioTrackr Bounce sees the new file, uploads it as the song's next version, and it's on your iPhone, on the lock screen and in CarPlay. Filenames don't matter: the folder decides the song, and bouncing the same name twice gives you two versions, not one overwritten file. If the wifi drops, it keeps trying until the mix is up.
Listen, tap to leave a note at the second you hear something, and the note lands on the song's punch list for your next session in Logic Pro. How it works →
