A few things you might want to know.
Something missing? Email support@studiotrackr.com and a person answers.
Do I need to install anything?
No. StudioTrackr runs in your browser on desktop and works on your phone for listening, notes, and keeping up with the project.
How do I sign in?
Enter your email and we send you a one-time code — no password to invent or forget. You can also sign in with Google, in which case we receive only your name, email address, and profile picture. We never ask for access to Gmail, Drive, or anything else in your Google account.
What audio formats can I upload?
WAV, AIFF, MP3, and M4A. Everything is converted to 256 kbps AAC so it plays back instantly in the browser and on your phone. On Pro your original files are kept alongside that and can be downloaded any time; on Free the original is discarded once the conversion succeeds.
Is my unreleased music private?
Yes. Your projects are private to you and the people you invite. There's no public feed or discovery, and your audio isn't used to train AI. The privacy policy has the full detail, including exactly which companies process your data.
Can collaborators use it for free?
Yes. People you invite can listen and leave feedback without paying for their own Pro plan. They sign in with an emailed code — nothing to install and no account to set up. Only the person who owns the project pays.
What can each collaborator do?
You choose per person. An Editor can change songs, steps, recordings, and notes. A Listener can play mixes and leave comments only. You can remove anyone at any time, which revokes their access immediately.
What happens if I downgrade from Pro?
Your most recently active project is kept, with up to 3 songs, on the Free plan. Your other projects are archived until you upgrade again — archived means set aside, not deleted.
Is there a phone app?
The web app works on your phone today for listening and capturing notes. A dedicated iOS listening app — built for the car test, with background playback and offline mixes — is the next thing being built.
Who makes StudioTrackr?
Monument Apps, LLC — one independent developer and musician, building the tool they spent five years wishing existed. If something's broken or missing, support@studiotrackr.com reaches a person who can fix it.
